It is with great excitement that we share that Elite Training student Sheridan Reider recently performed “Sleeping Beauty” on the historic stage of the Hermitage Theatre!

While studying in our Elite Vaganova Training Program in St. Petersburg, Russia, Sheridan was invited to perform with a professional ballet company in the city. Within a matter of days, Sheridan successfully rehearsed and performed in “Sleeping Beauty,” fulfilling a dream of hers!

In Sheridan’ words:

It has always been a dream of mine to perform on a stage in Russia. Thanks to OWDF, that dream just became a reality. I was fortunate enough that my hard work, under the tutelage of Ekaterina Shchelkanova and Anton Boytsov, allowed me to perform in a profession production of the Sleeping Beauty. I am so grateful for my incredible teachers and for this opportunity that arose, allowing me to showcase the Vaganova technique onstage the historical Hermitage theater.
