Applicants who pass the first round of video auditions successfully will be invited for in-person auditions in January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>For <strong>BALLET DANCERS EN POINTE AGES 12 &#8211; 30<\/strong> auditioning for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SOLOIST AND PRINCIPAL ROLES<\/strong>,<\/span> please create a <strong>10-15 minute<\/strong> video including the following:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The applicant stating his\/her name, age, and reason for pursuing ballet training;<\/li><li>Short combinations at the barre, on one side only, of the following: pli\u00e9, battement tendu and jet\u00e9s, rond de jambe par terre, fondu, and grand battements;<\/li><li>Center work: adagio, pirouette combination, petite and grand allegro.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Complete the online application form and submit your audition materials along with the audition fee payment by clicking the button below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-2 wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button aligncenter\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-midnight-gradient-background has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/form.jotform.com\/233103186547353\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SUBMIT VIDEO AUDITION<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>REHEARSALS AND PARTICIPATION FEES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3><mark style=\"background-color:#ffbb44\" class=\"has-inline-color\">*<strong>HELD IN BOTH NEW YORK CITY AND CONNECTICUT AREAS<\/strong>*<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>REHEARSALS will be held&nbsp;<strong>ONCE A WEEK DURING THE WEEKEND.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong><em>Middlebury, Connecticut<\/em>&nbsp;<\/strong>rehearsals will take place at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brasscityballet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brass City Ballet<\/a>&nbsp;on&nbsp;Saturdays.<\/li><li><em><strong>New York City<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;rehearsals will take place at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/jaEju2aiMjfA1jeG8\" target=\"_blank\">Joffrey Ballet School<\/a>&nbsp;on&nbsp;Sundays.<\/li><li>Each role will rehearse for&nbsp;<em><u>no more than one hour<\/u><\/em>&nbsp;each week.<\/li><li><em>Rehearsal schedules will be sent out in advance&nbsp;<u>by email&nbsp;<\/u>to accepted performers who have enrolled and paid the participation fees. <\/em>Please be patient and wait for the schedules to be sent out!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation fees for accepted performers will help cover all necessary performance expenses like costumes, professional wardrobe department, and backstage assistance.
